"LOVED the room and the view was spectacular! The location could not have been any more convenient. Lobby was beautiful. Our room had a separate living room with bay windows looking out over Lake Michigan and the city. The bedroom was fantastic with a comfortable bed and pillows. We slept so well. Nice separate bathroom and an extra walk-in closet. I was so pleased that I didn’t want to leave even after 3 nights. I’ll definitely stay here again. "

"Check in was quick and easy. I ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant and it was decent. Elevators are very slow to get to your floor. No ice machines but they will deliver ice to your room. Room was spacious but very cold. Thermostat set on 78 and it was still very drafty. The bathroom did not seem to have heat in it at all. Area was walkable and convenient. Evening security guard was kind. "

"My stay at the RIU was amazing. Perfect for a Getaway in the City of Chicago. The staff was amazing, the rooms were spacious and clean, and everything was close enough to walk to. 10/10 would definitely stay again."
