This was the 3rd time staying here. Friendly Check in staff. Nice little breakfast area. Love that is dog friendly, even has a large area in the back for dogs to play. Has 2 nice sitting areas on the property. Right behind the motel is a little shopping plaza and Davids Breakfast and Deli is delicious can walk from your room.

Traveling with a dog was so easy here they even have a fenced in dog run. Motel has thoughtful additions, loved parking right outside my door. Comfy bed and linens. Only thought is shower needs a mold cleaning. But overall would stay here again! Check out Onyo harbor, literally 2 minutes away. Beautiful. I loved the area Ft Bragg, super cute and felt safe for a single traveler.

Overall a fine stay. Staff were very nice. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi tub which was unexpected and nice. The room itself had a few areas that could use repairs, like most typical family owned budget hotels. Just small things like paint chips or broken handles. Nothing that impacted comfort of stay or use ability of things. I’d give housekeeping a 7/10. It was clean enough to feel safe but not sparkling.

This property is huge! The exterior, you can tell it is a very old place, and the rooms are the size of the older motels from the 40s and 50s. They claim their beds are queen size, even when questioned, but they are full size beds. Just so you're aware. But the rooms have been modernized inside, and are really clean and attractive. They take their gardens seriously and you feel like you're staying in a botanic garden. So much so, no joke, that I took the trip to the Mendocino Botanic Garden off my list, too much else to do!

The surf motel was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly competent staff, stuff did what was expected and required. Easy to find and use, simple to enjoy. Not five star - but didn’t want that. Loved it.

We had an issue with the toilet in our room and the front desk was quick to upgrade our room at no cost. Customer service was outstanding! Very nice and comfortable stay!

I like that I can park my motorcycle close to my door. Easy to bring my stuff in & out. Easy to go out & put the cover on after it cools off. Lobby is convenient, the young lady very pleasant & helpful. McDonald’s nearby was convenient since I needed to make an early start.

For low cost and last minute availability, this motel served its purpose. Aside from clean sheets and towels, and a decent mattress to sleep on, there was not much else to commend the place. Pretty thin walls that afforded me the privilege of hearing some dude bangin' his woman at 3:00 in the morning. Holes in the drywall that made me wonder whether or not my room had once been the scene of a crime, and contact points on the furniture, walls, door handles, etc. that we're so grimy, I didn't want to touch anything without a PPE barrier. The breakfast that was included was generally non-nutritious, empty calories wrapped in plastic. Fortunately, we brought snacks, so took a pass on the breakfast. Other than this, great place done once, but never again.
