  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Great place, great stay

Property was perfect! Plenty of room for 8. Awesome screened porch facing the beach & ground level area had plenty of room, comfy chair where you can put up your feet and relax while enjoying the breeze from the gulf. Loved the location. Would definitely stay here again.
