“This property is located end of a road right next to large city work lot. Big trucks and lots of 5am chatter. “Cottage” had bad layout. Bathroom sink doubled as kitchen sink. Queen bed is against a wall on one side so if two people getting out of wall side is very difficult Table outside looked at trashy fence with trucks your view. Owners were nice. But buyer beware. To walk to beach had to go through private property. You can walk to good coffee place. Pictures on site are very good,……

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
