“Our second time staying at Daniel’s place and we hope to be back again someday! The unit has everything you need and is the perfect little oasis on the N Shore. The view and birds on the lanai are always my favorite part!The bed is comfy and the apartment was clean. Daniel answered quickly via text when we had questions and made sure we were all set. “It's very nicely decorated, the view is excellent, and the landscaping is beautiful. We arrived after dark and had a hard time seeing the combination on the key box. It is not lit, and difficult to turn. Then we struggled with the locks for a half hour before the door would open. “This is located in a private neighbourhood with private security etc, looked like rental properties or timeshares, well maintained and looks very nice but not quite the vibe we were looking for. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a washer and dryer which was appreciated. No AC but many fans. Grocery store and restaurants located a short drive away at the entrance to the private neighbourhood for provisions.”

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
