"Everything was excellent. Staff very friendly the manager (sorry I can’t remember his name) was so nice. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were great. The refrigerators are awesome and have a freezer which was nice so we could have ice ice cream bars for the kids the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna and the shower. That’s right there by the pool along with the big bathroom for both men and women is amazing. It’s just absolutely wonderful everything about Tawas Bay Resort is wonderful. Outside there’s the beach in the pier. Perfect location can walk everywhere. The best part about it though seriously was the manager and staff so kind and helpful. Thank you so much for another amazing stay. We can’t wait to come back. Sincerely, Kathy Orvosh, grandmother who reserved three nights for my daughter/husband and grandchildren. "The cabins are not that warm if you book one in winter. The walls inside have enough space you can see into the bedrooms. From the kitchen/living room. "

"First off there are signs everywhere stating that you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee if your room smells like smoke. The whole hotel smells like stale smoke. Especially in the rooms. We literally were watched and listened too. Had our lock on the keyed door changed while we were out at a funeral. Came back to a lock that our key no longer fit in. And neither did the master key. The attendant had to call the owner which told him where to find a key to get us into our room. We were pissed. They refunded our money and we left. Luckily we were able to go down the road to a way better hotel! Stay at the Mio Motel!! It's way better. Cleaner, friendlier, and they beds are super comfy. "

"This home was gorgeous and even better in person than in the pictures. Every detail has been thought out by the owners, including accommodations for my senior dog. We had a family ranging in age from 11 months to 72 years old, and there was something for everyone. Beautifully appointed rooms, plenty of space for quiet time, open concept in the kitchen, dining and living areas so we could spend time together. The whole family was comfortable and we'd all like to come back next year. If it was possible to give 6 out of 5 stars, I would. The owners were so easy to communicate with through the VRBO app and very quick to respond. Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend!!"
