Hamburg Hotel Rooms at the Independent

Stay 1 night a d was OK. More, no way. Small hotel in the centre, just to sleep and go.

TV no connection to the channels . Post a note to housekeepers but they did not fix . I think they did not care !

Friendly and very helpful staff. Closely located to harbor and boat tour locations, and also nightlife spots closer to Reeperbahn.

I booked very last minute when I had mishaps with my train trip and had to head out next morning. The price was great for what I got, it was pretty much next to Hamburg hbf and the room was very nice. Free WiFi was a huge plus too, great for getting in touch with relatives during a trip.

Rooms are great, staff is friendly. Lobby layout and feel could use an upgrade. Spa was annoying as there was no availability during my entire three day stay!

We were impressed with the exotic feel of the hotel and room. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to open the windows while we slept. The bed and pillows were very nice. It was a very good experience.

If you're looking for a simple hotel close to the city center at a decent price then it's definitely a good choice; nevertheless, the rooms are small and quite uncomfortable. The hotel staff is nice and quite helpful.
