“The driveway, walkway and porch could have used a good sweeping/cleaning!The rooms were very clean and neat. The house has a rather "musty" smell. The garage (which you have to go through), and back deck needed sweeping/cleaning. The yard, both front and back needed some real tending to....Personal taste--don't like plastic dishes !No icemaker !For the price and last minute booking it was okay. Thanks”

“This house was just perfect!! It had everything you could need and was spotless!! Definitely will return!!”

“Would definitely stay again! Very reasonable rates. Well stocked kitchen with a coffee bar! 2 main bedrooms very comfortable. The third bedroom not as comfy appropriate for only kids due to the interior window. Bathtubs could use some updating and wished there was more privacy in the backyard. Otherwise a great stay with host quick to answer any questions.”

“Super cute”

“Great Lake home and well equipped!! Communication was awesome with the host! Very enjoyable place to stay and spacious. Would definitely rent again!!!”

“We stayed here in June and the location and property were great! The host was quick to communicate. The property was clean and the house was fully stocked - we’ve never seen a house so stocked for its guests! We appreciated that so much! The only thing we noticed was the pictures portray a much larger yard and since the photos were taken, the neighbor has put up a fence which makes this yard much much smaller than it appears. The photos need updating as the patio set up and areas around the……

“Nice and quiet.”

“House was in a quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes from South Haven. It was perfect for our family of 4. The house was clean and inviting. The outside was nice with yard games, fire put and large gas grill. I would just recommend bringing OFF Fogger and mosquito spray. We loved the antique shops and fruit orchards especially Reenders blueberries.”

“Everything was great, only wished paper towels and Kleenex were supplied. Also the water from faucets was very smelly..had to buy are own.”

“property was filled with bugs. ”

“Unit 1 can potentially sleep 6 people. We had an adult couple & 3 teens & it was a little small for sleeping, but it was adequate. The bed in the loft can possibly sleep 2 people, if they are children. The loft also gets a little warm compared to the lower part of the cabin. We used the cabin only for sleeping, changing, bathroom. We did not cook there but the cabin has enough utensils, etc for having meals. Refrigerator/freezer was adequate. Love the location - access to Little Crooked……

“Property was excellent and as described. We were going to a wedding at stonegate manor and it was so convenient. It is only .7 of a mile away.”

“House was as described. It was clean and even more space than we expected. The kids loved the bunk room and games in the basement. The “walk” to the beach is still a half mile but was doable and the beach was nice. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.”

“The cabin was very cute and clean. The master bedroom was updated and the bed was very comfortable. This unit is right next to the shared laundry room with three other units. And had its own private deck for grilling. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a toaster and coffee pot. The WiFi and tv streaming worked great. The host gave us details related to close beaches and restaurants that were minutes away. The host was very responsive and made sure we checked in ok since we……

“The house was very clean and the location was beautiful. Many things to do around the area. Check-in was very simple and the owner communicated very well. ”

“The Whiskey Run Lodge was amazing - even better than the pictures! Three families (6 adults) - plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy. The house is very well-stocked with everything you need. The amenities are awesome! Perfect location: 10 minute drive to downtown South Haven and 10 minute walk to Covert Beach. Host is very responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return someday!”

“It was fine nothing exceptional but fine. It would be nice to have outdoor seating outside the unit.”

“Rates and fees were very confusing. Night to night the rental price fluctuated wildly. Then there were additional fees that added a significant amoubt to a four night stay. When they say tiny cabin they mean it. So just be aware that if you are into "glamping" it might not be for you. Musty/mildew smell from the bath (I think) permeated the space as did the smell from the refrigerator. Not unexpected from a trailer cabin in the woods. Bright spots included WiFi, coffee, tea snd snacks……

“Very nice stay, clean, convenient, with privacy. Easily accessible to whatever you may need.”
