Beach Bliss | Pet Friendly Retreat Near Lake MI

Escape to our charming 2BR cottage just a few miles from the pristine shores of Lake Michigan. Our cozy retreat is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy all the beauty and activities of the Michigan coastline. Many of Southwest Michigan‘s most beautiful beaches are located 5-10 minutes away and the drive to downtown St. Joseph is only a quick 7-minute drive along the lake! The neighborhood is small and quaint, perfect for a peaceful and secluded getaway while remaining close to all the wineries, wedding venues, restaurants, and golf courses!

Our cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. With two comfortable bedrooms and an expandable couch, our cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests, making it perfect for families and weekend getaways with friends! We also welcome your furry friends with a per-stay fee of $65 (max-2), so feel free to bring them along for the adventure! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cooking essentials and the living room has a comfy couch and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. Outside, you'll find a private patio area with a grill, perfect for cookouts on warm evenings. We also have a small fire pit to enjoy during your stay.
Guests can access the house anytime after check-in with a generated code.

We are dog-friendly, please no cats. We require a $65 per stay fee (max 2 pets.) You are welcome to include your dog(s) in the booking or we can send a separate invoice. If you choose to bring your pet, please keep them in the designated areas outside and clean up after them!

The house was very nice. It was quiet and close to town. Unsure on how to use the tv at first. Maybe some directions would have been helpful; but enjoyed beach and family ! Didn’t need tv! Nice Little House
This place is perfect for 2-4 adults that really just need a place to sleep and relax. Kind of a different setup with the church/bell tower right next to the house but nothing bad about it. We had minimal contact with the owners, which I appreciate. Everything was as advertised. Would stay here again.

Calm and Cozy Vacaton Home
Stayed here for a long weekend with friends visiting from out of town. This house was absolutely perfect for us - easy driving distance from downtown St. Joe, the beach, and many other destinations. Nice peaceful neighborhood. And the property itself was spacious and cozy, lots of provided amenities such as extra towels and blankets, some basic toiletries, on site laundry, a dishwasher, some fun bonuses like puzzles and Roku access, and more made our trip all the easier and more enjoyable. We absolutely loved it here and I would happily stay here again. Thank you so much!

Perfect for our quick weekend trip to visit wineries. Clean and the beds were comfortable. If I had any criticism it would be the furniture was not very comfortable for sitting around. Good overall trip.

Wonderful Family Getaway
It was a very short mid-October family getaway. The house is very cute, recently renovated, and very comfortable. It fit our family of 4 beautifully, with much space left for a couple more people. It has all the necessary amenities as we do not eat out. The boys really enjoyed playing in the house, and we even had time to do a lot of computer work. All activities like kayaking and ATVs are open only on the weekends in October but we found plenty of nature and cool things to do. We took a morning walk in the fog, hiked by the Sarett Nature Center (highly recommend!), took a dip in lake Michigan nearby having found a cool staircase leading down to a beautiful beach (Hagar Park/Beach). The only slight difficulty was finding the key to enter the house as we walked all around the bell tower :). The street number is on the bell tower but the actual house is to the left of tower when you are facing it. Kudos to the hosts for such a pleasant house!!!

So much fun!
Had a great girls getaway!!! The owner of the property was onsite and so nice! Everything was super clean, the property was perfect...all the essentials were there to make it the bed weekend. Very close to downtown St Joseph, the casino and a slew of wineries!!! Thank you Sarah for letting us stay!!! We may make this a yearly tradition!!!
