“This is a really neat place. Not your average yurt. The kitchen has a stovetop, microwave, fridge, and sink. It doesn't have an oven. The gas grill outside was great for cooking our kabobs. The bed is huge, and the bathroom was really nice with a walk in shower with 2 showerheads. The hot tub outside was nice, as was the firepit. We had a real nice time, highly recommend. Way better than a hotel room, much more private. Check in and check out were easy. ”

“If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River.”

“Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). “This was our first visit to this property and we loved it! I especially loved it being tucked back on a cul-de-sac. We had essentially no traffic and only had neighbors a couple of the days we were there.The property was very well maintained. Our family spent most of our time, when not on the lake, in the 3 season room. I loved the floor to ceiling windows. We spent many hours playing cards in this space. The fishing was great once we figured out the lake! We caught some really nice walleye,……

“Everything was as described! Place was clean, and had everything we needed ”

“We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It was quiet and secluded. The house was fantastic. It was clean and roomy. The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room was a HUGE hit for all the kids. The lake lot acess was also a favorite for the kids and adults! Kayaks and paddle boats were put to good use. We had a few first timers for fishing, (we used the fishing rods provided, and bought some crawlers for bait) and the lake didnt disappoint. We caught sun……

“Our family of 5 (kids 10 months to 10 y.o.) had a great time! Added pontoon for added/improved swimming options and quiet lake tours to end our nights. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth……

“The cabin was great! There was plenty of room for our family of six. It was really easy to get to town for whatever we needed. We were able to host a small BBQ with family, and everything we needed was there. Carrie also went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of!
