“We had a wonderful stay. A charming little cabin for our family of 5 (4 year old slept on a mattress we brought). The highlight was kayaking at sunset and listening to the loons. I missed the detail about bringing our own bedsheets but Jay was so kind about it and brought us some extras he had. Would love to stay again! ”

“Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). “The location is beyond words. Truly beautiful and relaxing. We loved bird watching including a daily visit by a chatty eagle. Absolutely amazing. We explored Crane lake and caught enough walleyes and bass for a fish dinner at the cabin. The eagle enjoyed the fish remains right off the end of the dock. I highly recommend Loon Landing.”

“We had so much fun we didn’t want to leave! The cabin was just what we wanted- waterfront, with a sauna, near a marina, and on the mainland. Very solid internet as well. And the added convenience of being able to rent a fish/ski boat at a great rate! They really took care of our needs. Alyssa and Mike, you two are a pleasure to work with and we hope to be back! Thanks also for the use of the stand up paddle boards and kayak! ”

“We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night.
