“It worked for us while we were at the US Open. We were gone ever day, and some days didn’t get back till late. We ate a few meals in the apartment, and had enough kitchen accoutrements to handle our meal. The shower worked well and we had enough towels, although they were old. Our bed and pillows and bed linens worked well for us. The AC worked well, although it wasn’t a hot week. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc. nearby. This is……

“The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths. The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.”

“Great stay, clean and inviting space. Thanks for a great space away from home; will definietly book again.”

“If we could give 10 stars, we would. Every detail was very thoughtfully planned. Comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful location. Great communication. We will stay again.”

“Very clean. Easy to get to. Listing as described. Bed and furniture are nice and comfy. Only thing I would add is a broom and dust pain and some Clorox wipes so guest can keep it neat. 5 stars! Very nice host. ”

“Not enough blankets supplied. No curtain on bathroom window. Would be nice to supply coffee.”

“Place was perfect for our 2 day stay. In town for family event. Was well stocked with kitchen items and bathroom. Outside area was relaxing. Quaint little place. Host communicated well and everything was as expected. Thank you”

“The property was convenient for what we needed. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe during our stay! The property is located in the basement of the host’s house so you can hear them walking above and their dog barking throughout the evening/night. Also, I found that the bedroom, kitchen, and living room were clean - but the bathroom was not. Nothing we couldn’t live with for a couple days, but just something to consider! There is a window AC in the bedroom and you are in a basement so the……

“great stay just as advertised, a little pricey but worth it.”

“Beautiful clean upstairs apartment with a private entrance. Very quiet neighborhood with a small park across the street. Karen, the homeowner who lives downstairs is a wonderful person. The place was perfect for what I needed amd the location was great.”

“Great location and cozy studio.”

“Son and I stayed here for NLF Lacrosse Tournament in Stonybrook. Was happy with the surrounding area-at at Jonny D’s pizza after late game, visited Sagamore National Historic Monument. Great time.”
