“My husband and I were looking for a little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this place fit our needs. We loved the vibe of the converted schoolhouse. It was a spacious but cozy place to stay! The fireplace and hot tub were welcomed benefits. You can tell that they take care and take pride in the space. Kayla was very responsive to our questions. She also made a point to follow up to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Thank you Kayla! ”

“PHENOMENAL!!!! This was our first trip together!! Me and my fiancé stayed here from Monday evening until Wednesday morning. The hosts are very reliable and always available in a timely manner for any questions or concerns we had. very thoughtful setup from the kitchen utensils/dishware, laundry detergent and surprisingly bug sprays and PLENTY of snacks. “The room was comfortable for our short stay but the bathroom was not cleaned very well. There were beard trimmings around the sink and debris in the corner. Also there were signs that a mat had once been used inside of the tub that left a visible stain around it. ”

“Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT...

“The house was gorgeous clean and comfortable We took our grandchildren to Cooperstown for the day and then were able to relax at the house in the evening I was surprised the kitchen had no spices available The views from the house were amazing I would definetly recommend it ”
