“Staff was very nice and pleasant. Hotel itself and our room was nice and clean. But our junior suite was downstairs, kind of like underground area off the hotel, there were no windows to outdoors. Also, our room was extremely damp. It was not disclosed in the booking.”

“The location of the property was excellent! The room we had was clean.
Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available.
Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night.”

“We had a comfy stay at the Nautical Nest. Check-in was super easy. The room was clean and spacious. The AC unit helped keep the room cool on a hot day but turned off and on during the night which is a helpful energy saver but not great for sleep.
Would stay here again.”

“I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there.
I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite.
The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was booked out, but besides hearing some light noise above us the next day, it was...
