“A lovely English pub with lots of character in beautiful Winchelsea. We had room 3 which was spacious with a huge and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and we had a very good meal in the evening. I would highly recommend this place”

“Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. There was mould on one of the bedroom walls.The kitchen cupboard fascias were peeling and the handles all……

“The property and garden are perfect if you have a dog. If you don’t , its clean and not at all doggy! We’ve visited several times and love it. Good proximity to an unspoiled beach and Rye nature reserve.”

“Room ok but spotlight pointing at room all night without a blackout. Listing states Restaurant but no evening meals however the Robin Hood Inn Icklesham is excellent.”
