“We loved this house! The driveway and entrance was private. The living room and kitchen were perfect size and even had a small dining table. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Laundry room was big. The bathroom, although a little small, was big enough to get clean and be on your way. The host did a lovely job of decorating and everything was very clean. In the morning we watched the deer in the back yard while sipping out coffee. Area was very quiet and easy to get……

“Lovely home - highly recommend”

“Pros-Super cute place! Beds are very comfortable. Host was pleasant and replied when needed in a timely manner. Good location. Cons-tub could use a new resin. Suggestions-maybe have a welcome book with what the area provides, like local restaurants, activities, markets, shopping, etc. and instructions for use of TV’s and checkout. With other locations we’ve stayed at it’s just been easier to have an easy access like a book with everything that’s needed for our stay.”

“Fantastic neighborhood and a simple very comfortable place. Absolutely perfect VRBO host and property.Thank you for helping make my move to Austin comfortable”

“This was an excellent little house to stay at. We came for a short weekend to hike the Inner Space caverns and go to a Volts game. The house is nicely located right next to down town we were able to walk to the Second Saturday farmers market. I would highly recommend and we have already started making plans to return!”

“Our stay was AMAZING!!! Smooth check in, location was amazing aswell! Private pool!! We were a total of 5 adults and 3 kids all under 8 and it was perfect for us!! Only complain is that TVs are a bit outdated but had fire sticks so you can stream on them, but that wasn't enough to dampen the mood on this beautiful place!! 100% recommend!”

“The house was perfect for our ladies getaway. Close enough to walk to the Square and tons of dining options nearby. The house is extremely cute little remodel that wasn’t overdone. It still has its original charm and modern conveniences.”

“House was well maintained and very cute! Would rent again.”

“This beautiful home was immaculate! The Historic home was beautifully decorated and comfy. It felt like a home and not a rental property. Initially there was an issue renting the property and Carol worked hard to help me fix the issue. Communication was immediate and polite. Lastly we were right in the heart of Salado and could walk to all the shops and restaurants. Highly Recommended!”

“Great stay at The Lodge. We will be back”
