“My son and I truly enjoyed spending Thanksgiving at Harbourside Charleston Marina & Resort. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. “The staff were very accommodating and the room was lovely. HOWEVER, as in so many hotels, the lighting is more decorative than functional. The closets are the size of a postage stamp and the bathroom is barely big enough to turn around in. It is an old, historic hotel, and it’s possible that city codes prevent modernization. There are many other hotels in that location where you would probably get more bang for your buck. ”
