Upon arrival, we could tell it definitely needed a front end makeover. The fountain outside was never on, some of the flower boxes were not planted, there were orange safety cones on one sidewalk. Underneath a bench that was out there for us to sit on was a couple hair extensions that were never picked up the entire stay (3)days.
The front desk staff was amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and got us information on what all was around us.
The parking garage was not well lit and very scary to walk around in. I know some people use the option of the valet, but that wasn’t what we wished to do. And, it didn’t matter if we used the valet service or not we were still charged $26 a day, which is steep I feel.
Our room wasn’t anything exceptional, but it was definitely clean. There were 3 of us who stayed and the sofa bed mattress definitely needed to be replaced as it was super thin and very uncomfortable. We had a remote control that wasn’t working on the first day, so we asked for it to be replaced and the entire stay it never was. The hotel didn’t have enough staff to provide clean sheets/towels/clean unless you asked for it to be done. We were able to get extra towels from one of the housekeeping staff out in the hallway. We found out when we arrived that the inside pool was not available due to a water leak above it. The pool outside was okay, but moldy and mildewed. The chairs were nice, but the whole area was just old and in need of some TLC like the rest of the property!
