“The staff make this place - I won’t go into detail but they cocked the booking up big time.
But the lovely staff found a way to just make sure that everyone was happy.”

“My wife and I had a great stay at this property for a 4-day visit to the Lake District and could not have been happier. It's located on a quiet street of homes and guest houses, but is a short walk to the center of Keswick as well as my new favorite movie theater, the Alhambra Cinema, and our now-beloved local, the Dog & Gun Pub. It's also walkable to hikes at Skiddaw and Catbells.
Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a nice bed for sleeping after an active day. Our……

“If booking a room with a city I would suggest requesting this as we didn’t know we had to and ended up with a view of catering extractor fans and air conditioning units. Also the room we stayed in was a card fob which you would atomically think upon leaving your room and the door shut g it would lock and you would need to key card to gain entry up until this open g we hadn’t realised our room had been unlocked when we went out on hikes and meals meaning anyone could have helped themselves to our……

“Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Our room rate included breakfast, a lovely adequate selection which included self help items and order of the menu for hot. We will be definitely staying again when visiting the northern……

“My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”
