“Great place, well furnished and equipped. Floor to ceiling windows. Staff were working to fix the broken AC when we arrived, which thankfully worked. Complex is Directly on the beach with several lounge chairs and umbrella areas on the property. It’s a rocky beach in front of the hotel but good swimming on the left near the river. ”

“Owners are great people who share excellent information about the area and respond to any needs. Pools (2!) are perfect. They have scooters so you can cruise to the beach. The sweetest dog greets guests. The whole vibe is chill - I'll definitely go back! ”

“Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!”

Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The homemade breakfast was a highlight—absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We will stay again longer next time.”

“The beach is a short walk away, and there are restaurants nearby. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kitchen, but it was well equipt with a spacious fridge labelled for each room. The breakfast was simple but good.”

Felt very safe and the local community was very friendly. Very comfortable bed. The only inconveniences were a couple internet outages and some moth flies in the bathroom, but these are the sort of things I expect at this price point and did not at all detract from the wonderful time I had there! “Wonderful property clean, well serviced, plenty of choice for food including a small market on site. The staff were friendly, service was steady weather at the pool, lounge or restaurants. Overall a great stay, golf was a 5 minute shuttle away and the conditions were great. The property seemed to be around half capacity at a maximum, never an issue for dinner times, chairs by the pool etc.”

Can't say enough about this one. The downside is that Expedia booked two rooms for me and I was charged for the one I didn't need. ”
