The Chateau at Lake La Quinta

"If you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway this is it. It was 100 degrees and I had the pool to myself. The lake was calm and the sound of the birds reminded me that I was far enough away from the city. Staff was attentive and I was pleased with the restaurant and the complementary breakfast was laid out like a feast. We were a short drive from town, and all the golf courses nearby were perfect for my husband. We really enjoyed our stay! And the welcoming glass of champagne was a nice surprise. We stayed n a supreme room and it was large enough to make me feel like I was in a luxury Chateau. Beautiful French doors leading to a balcony overlooking the lake. It was quiet and relaxing throughout our stay. We will be back."

"Breakfast here is always amazing they have such a Great buffet. The suites are always very nice and comfortable, this is a nice hotel. The only complaint I have this time is that kids were screaming ENDLESSLY at the pool and I was trying to do conference calls. I called to the front desk and they said they would take care of it but they didn't appear to do anything! The screaming continued for HOURS. I finally gave up on working at the hotel and switched to a different hotel's lobby pretty sad when you pay for a hotel but have to go to another hotel to get your work done! Not too pleased about that but I will definitely request a not poolside room next time!! I have stayed here many times and that was never a problem in the past so I'm pretty disappointed that it was so out of control this time. I understand kids being jubilant but really for 2 hours on end?? That's totally disrespectful to the rest of the hotel guests"

"The shower faucet is mounted too high, and the spray is diffuse and lacks sufficient pressure; the showerhead cannot be detached for handheld use, making it very inconvenient for children, as the water doesn't reach them effectively during baths. It is recommended to install a child-friendly showerhead or a detachable handheld showerhead."

"Clean, comfortable home in a great location in La Quinta. We used the pool extensively and enjoyed the outdoor patio. House had lots of small amenities so if you needed something, it was probably there. Communication with the owner Yvonne was near instantaneous through the app. Check in and check out were smooth and effortless. Would definitely rent again if the opportunity arose."
