“This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We enjoyed the calls of the loons, the dock and the fire pit. The only draw back (which is also a plus for a nature escape) is that it took about 30m minutes to get to town so come prepared with food for the……

“Kris’ cabin is lovely. The view from the living room is idyllic, especially at sunset. The cabin has been thoughtfully restored to give the classic northern WI feel. We’ve been coming to this area for decades and this cabin is one of our favorites. The beds and bedding were comfy, the pellet stove worked well on the chilly nights and the lake access is ideal. The WiFi streamed movies effortlessly on the smart TV. The owners are next door but the cabin is set up such that it feels really private.……

“Check in with Mike was simple because he communicated with us 24 hours before we arrived with a code. The kitchen facilities were wonderful with a grill on the deck. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well appointed with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The access to a relaxing lake place with an opportunity for our grandchildren to fish from the dock and enjoy games of ping pong was the highlight for our family, along with making s’mores around the fire pit in the evening. “The view is amazing! We finally got some much needed relaxation combined with a trip with our new side-by-side. We rode the roads a short distance and hopped on the trails for some trail fun and when we were done, came back to do some fishing off of the private pier and caught some nice bluegills! Then we and had a nice bonfire in the fire pit. There is a fully stocked kitchen where I made breakfast one morning, and we grilled steaks the next night. The bed was so comfy i didn't want to get out……
