“I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

“This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds.
