“The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again.”

“They claimed to be an air-conditioned hotel but our AC did not work and several other guests that I spoke to also had non-functioning air conditioning. We stayed for three nights because the conference was nearby and there was no effort to repair any of the guests' units. It felt like this is their scheme. Charge for AC rooms but only apologize when they don't work. When we requested a partial refund for the lack of AC, they ignored the request.”

"I highly recommend this Hotel in Basel! Hotel is right outside of Basil Central train station (2min walk with a large suitcase) super convenient with multiple tram stops & 2 supermarkets within one minute distance. Excellent customer service - I wanted to thank Carole and Thomas for their warm, friendly & attentive service. I stayed in the newly renovated business villa, the room was spacious & clean with hard wood flooring, bathroom at a window with huge shower both and sink counter. Hotel has a restaurant and a small car but I don’t eat breakfast nor drink, so I didn’t try it. Lots but not least the room cost is reasonable."
