“La chambre était impeccable et le personnel fort agréable ”

“Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was……

“Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. The room……

“Disappointed that we had 2 rooms the same booked One was a lovely room with a large tv soft bed The other very hard bed & sparce Got moved to a family room like a dormitory Wifi didn't work at all Reception/restaurant bar was in another building so as Im disabled I had to drive too ”

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening.……

“+ polite staff, lovely quirky hotel, - room cold, unable to regulate heat quick staff response by putting heater in room. Noise levels unacceptable from beer keller two doors away playing loud muic until 2am. Rang desk at 1.30am who informed me they don't usually stay open that late but their opening hrs state otherwise. Kitchen extractor woke us at 7am that same morning. Windows not double glazed. Awful nights sleep.”

“Room was very clean and warm, lovely comfy bed and the lady I met on arrival and leaving was very helpful , even gave me some extra biscuits as I left because the weather was very cold and unpleasant ”

“Friendly helpful staff, a lovely comfortable place.Our room was a good size with a large modern ensuite. Nice toiletries etc. The breakfast buffet provided a wide choice plus a variety of hot dishes to order.”
