Hotel located in the heart of old Lincoln. Short walk to Lincoln Cathedral. Food was good and the staff were friendly.

Lovely one night stay. Car parking reserved, very close to hotel. All staff we encountered were very helpful. Bags left early before check in and were delivered to our rooms. Our room was on 3rd floor and although hard to find and very aptly named ‘cosy double’ it was very comfortable and of a very good standard with a good view of the cathedral. Elemis toiletries, coffee machine & kettle with milk and water provided in fridge. Large comfortable bed, at least king size with good quality linen...

Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean.

Great location for the cathedral and castle, close to transportation. Very good breakfast with friendly staff.

I spent most of my time there sleeping but the food I did have was quite good if a little plain.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable place to stay, this is a good choice. I was in the neighborhood (visiting Tattershall castle) and this suited very well. The proprietors were very nice, the breakfast was GREAT, the bed comfortable. The furnishings were kind of dated but I expected that from previous reviews.
