“Beautifully appointed home with great accommodation for our family of six adults and 3 children in a quiet gated community. Village was friendly and the local pub and the Italian restaurant were within easy walking distance and were perfect for our group. Interesting visit to the UK Space Centre which was hosting a Star Wars weekend was fun for everyone. Lovely part of England and Bosworth Field is close by for history enthusiasts. Would recommend this property!”

“The property was ideal for a long weekend we had planned with friends, situated in front of a footpath that led to the park & lovely canel walk. The pool table was a great hit. There some maintenance that needed doing while we at the house which was dealt with by the host very efficiently. There a few cleanliness issues we had to raise with the hosts and they responded immediately to assure us they would be addressed with the cleaners. Overall we had a great time in a lovely village & would……

“The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably”

“Lovely house in close proximity to Donington Race Track Co-op near by, easy to grab a taxi or bus Nice and clean, cosy and spacious. Quiet neighbourhood Parking is a bit tricky, off street parking is available first come first serve. ”

“Had a lovely stay here over new year. The cottage is lovely with everything you need for your stay. Unfortunately we couldn't do the walks we wanted due to the weather but still managed to get out and about. The pub next door is dog friendly and does lovely food.”

The renovation of the barn has been done very sympathetically keeping many of the original features on the old building. Great hosts, on hand for anything you need. Would recommend. ”

“The carpet was loose on the stairs and this was very dangerous, I tripped every single time going up the stairs. The toilet brush was absolutely covered in faeces. The bathroom door lock was broken. The bedroom handle was broken. The garden needs some serious love it’s covered in weeds. Parking is a nightmare. I was also asked to pay a 35 pound non refundable fee after booking which I was not told about… felt a bit like theft. Wouldn’t stay again.”

“Six of us stayed in this property in December 2023, and although there was plenty of space, the condition of the property was not as described or advertised. Firstly, unlike the 2/3 bathrooms as advertised on Expedia, the property only has one shower and one toilet. The toilet is in a cupboard-sized 'room', directly in front of a door with a window. And so privacy is a big issue here! The shower was clearly leaking, and has/is currently leaking into the games room below - staining and rotting……

“We used this property for one part of the family as we had outgrown my daughters house nearby. It was an excellent base and they were thrilled by the lovely Christmas hamper and decorations. I’m sure we would like to use it again”
