“This was a fun way to stay close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. You have to understand you are staying in an RV, not a hotel room. With that understood, it was wonderful. Plenty of room for two of us. We could store groceries to pack our lunch, spend the day hiking and come back to make a simple dinner. “The home was exactly as advertised and met all of our needs. The location near Sequoia made it easy for our family of 6 to explore the park without having to venture too far at the end of the day. The home was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family. There was a maintenance issue with one of the showers and the responsiveness was incredibly quick. “Great property in a great location! We had a group of 6 and it worked really well. 1 of the bedrooms is a bunk room that would accomodate a larger group/family well. Three Rivers was an awesome place to visit with great food - all guided by our tremendous host. “We met up for the Jazz Festival. Although tucked away, this was a great place to stay, with easy access. my only reservation was the climbing up the steep stairs. ( being in the mountains, I should have known.) One of the group has cardiac problems so this was a bit difficult. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well organized. “We were there for 11 days in early May, the weather was about 10 degrees cooler than Fresno for our entire stay (about an hour away). It's close (1-2 hours if you take the north vs south route) to the Sequoia parks/forest, and there's a big cat sanctuary a few miles up the road. “Excellent!!! Our hosts tried to think of everything to make our stay comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, a basket of snacks, dishes,and coffee and tea, We were surprised by the quality of the place. The workmanship that was put into buildin was 5 star. It is located in a great area on the side of a hill with a nice view of the mountain across the canyon. I would highly recommend this place!!!”
