Hotel near King Cross Station

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and youngest daughter. A sofa bed was arranged for my daughter. The location is good. Very close to King Cross Station, just around 1-2 minutes walk. Lift is available. Price is reasonable. The staff are nice and helpful. The cleanliness of the toilet is good.

Nice location but bad hotel

When we checked in at the hotel, the reception staff did not tell us that the air conditioning equipment in the room was broken. He still arranged for us to stay. After that, we asked other tenants to know that the air conditioner in their room could be used. We asked the reception desk. Requests to change rooms or provide more fans were rejected.

Great Hotel, Reasonable Price, Ideal Location

Great hotel, very close to kings cross station, around five minutes walk , a lot of restaurants nearby. Room is not big, but enough for two, continental breakfast wasn't as bad as some people had said. Heat was warm, hot water, and the receptionist was very friendly. One day, I left my pricy necklack in the room, had room service, when I came back, it was still there! Loved this hotel, would definitely recoomend and stay again. The only thing that's a little bothering is that there is no lift, they only have lifts in the main building, but not all rooms are in the main building.

Double payment for the accommodation. One time is made a booking (before checked in), one time is after check out. It will have a price difference and make some duplicate cost. Good location, but the staff can give us check in earlier.

Perhaps the most contradictory hotel in London

Book a low-cost hotel near any big-city travel hub, and you get what you pay for (and yes, under £100 a night in London is a budget hotel). This Comfort Inn is intriguing: it's an American motel shoehorned into a beautiful old London facade, shabby decor and everything you'd expect from a Comfort Inn/Travellodge stateside. No frills and a free (tepid) breakfast and wifi thrown in. It's contradictory; brand new and spotless bathroom with a slimy shower head; old and worn (and they open!!! yay!!!) sash windows in keeping with the architecture, and a wonderful view across the rooftops towards the much more expensive St Pancras hotel. No bedbugs (I checked, I felt I had to check) and surprisingly quiet and peaceful so close to Pentonville Road and Kings Cross. Kettle and decent-sized mug in room, but bring your own instant as the free coffee is dishwater. Yes, I'd stay there again. No, I would not send valuable clients there - it's not a place for impressing, but it is a decent night's sleep in the middle of the big city.

Great stay ... room spotless and new bathroom

Overnight stay in London. Really pleased helpful reception. Was able to check in over an hour earlier than normal time. Room was spotless , twin room no. 114 on ground floor. The beds were very comfortable, brand new bathroom installed, great shower (still had faint smell of new paint) and room at the right temperature. The staff at check out were very friendly. I would definitely stay at this Comfort Inn again
