Excellent Location

Villa was convenient to market, restaurants and parking. Loved flexibility of multi-level rooms. Kitchen items were very basic.

Unprofessional property manager

This was an awful stay , the house was the perfect size , conveniently located , had new linens, beds , kitchen amenities (no microwave as advertised as it was in the hot water closet ) and new furniture. All a plus , however it had no hot water the day I arrived , 2nd day and it was only until I contacted VRBO on the 3rd day that the property manager VaCasa started to address no hot water . I contacted the proper manager by, phone , text and email numerous times on the 2nd and 3d day only to be told a different story each time . At one point I was told by the property manager “I’m in Cabo San Lucas , what do you want me to do ?” Another time I was told to wait in the house all day (Monday) for the plumber to arrive and I did only to question at 1:30 pm, when do you think the plumber will arrive ?” I was told they are not coming . It was then I contacted VRBO and a plumber arrived in 2 hours. The plumber fixed the hot water for Monday afternoon and Tuesday but Wednesday morning there was no hot water on the day I have to fly back to France . Monday was the day I was to celebrate my birthday with friends but I spent the day requesting hot water . To add insult to injury the property manager sent me an email Tuesday night requesting help cleaning the house . I have been renting homes in Mexico for 30 years and I’m well experienced when it comes to travel but this experience won the award for do not stay here.

Nice place

Only problem was keypad didn’t work on arrival. Couldn’t get in touch with on site manager until the next day so had to leave the door unlocked when out.

Poor host, fair house and wonderful Loreto Bay

Loreto Bay is so uniquely charming that just being there is a five star experience. On the other side, the experience of staying at this particular house was more nuanced. The house itself is nice and fairly priced for what it is. The cleanness is impeccable, showing a five star managerial team. In contrast the host is closer to one star. 1) The house shows much closer to the beach on the map than where it really is; 2) The communication help from the host was zero - the door code was emailed to us only when we landed in Mexico, although I requested it a few days in advance, as I had no way to connect to internet in Mexico before entering the property. I asked and I was ignored. I also asked whether we could check in before 4PM and again - no answer. Finally, I was instructed to call the manager in Mexico, although my phone service does not cover Mexico. Again - the host didn't seem to care. Finally, the door code provided by the host was wrong and fortunately we could get the correct one from the manager, who, again, was wonderful, just like Loreto Bay itself.
