I read, and was a bit hesitant when booking after reading some reviews. I'll briefly touch on a few:
Noise- It's on the Venice Beach Boardwalk-Think worldfamous Vegas Strip, but on the beach! Lots of people day & night. If that's not your vibe and you don't like action, you should fall back. Eventually the crowd clears out starting about 10pm. We had no trouble sleeping, and you can hear the waves crashing from the room. So refreshing!
Safety- I am a single father, i am a teacher, I'm street smart, I grew up in the inner city so i had no concerns regarding safety. I roamed the boardwalk with my kids to observe the scene before allowing them a little freedom to cruise (ages 7/12/15).
Area around the property- Are there locals gathering and hanging out with apparently no place to go? Yes, but they're harmless, all seem to know eachother, and just fade into the background like everything else. Are there 100 times more tourists, who are also not concerned, and enjoying themselves? Yes. It is a community that reminds me of a thriving ecosystem, and if you stay longer than one night you will feel like a part of it. The rooftop lounge is dope, equipped with a grill and spectacular view. Boogie boards, balls, and beach toys in the basement. The elevator is small and a bit quirky, i prefer the stairs anyway but my kids had no problems operating it. STARBUCKS next door ").
Cleanliness- Immaculate.
Communication- Perfect.
Property condition- Cleanest property on the block!
