"If you want 100 things to do and 1,000,000 people around you, go to Cabo. If you want quiet luxury with few people and terrific restaurants in easy walking distance and THE most beautiful beach on earth.....this place is off the beaten path awesome. The villa is within a compound. They let us park inside of the back gate which allowed us to pull up the our villa. Mother-in-law has limited mobility and this give her easy access to the villa. There are no stairs to climb in the whole place except for the pool which makes it that much nicer. Indoors the villas are practically brand new, with comfy beds, and smart TV, spacious bathrooms and clean. We were greeted and shown around and there was chips, salsa, and margarita mix ready for us on the kitchen counter. Long story short this won't be our last trip to Los Barriles! Cheers"
"The suite is great plenty of room for 6 adults. Haveing the kitchen is a bonus for people that don't mine making some meals while on vacation. Both the owner and the property manager were very responsive and accommodating. I flight was moved back several hours and we were allowed to say a little later in the room with little notice. Over all a great experience. "
"This is a very comfortable home with everything you would need. The view from the rooftop patio at sunrise is worth waking up for, although sunrise on the beach is worth waking up ten minutes sooner! The private pool is so nice, and the outdoor shower after walking the beach is such a nice amenity. Inside, the two bedrooms with bathrooms are on opposite sides of the living room and kitchen area, which is perfect when sharing the home with an adult son. We loved that we could walk one direction to the beach, and a few blocks the other way to assorted restaurants and shopping options. Our favorite restaurant was Beans and Rice...a casual name for top of the line food and atmosphere. Another place we recommend is Pizzería di Don Roberto, which is a little drive, but worth it. The chef will do anything to accomodate your wishes, and the food is delicious."

"Great location. Close to town and the beach. It’s nice to have the hotel property right next door with restaurants, etc. The property is small but, quaint. The kitchen is not ideal for cooking as it’s very dark. The air conditioning was not the coolest, though that’s a building issue, others we met had the same issue. "

"Great time at Hotel Hondo! So thankful for the AC and quiet area where we could decompress. Super easy walk into town to many good restaurants as well as beach. Staff was incredibly easy to communicate with and met us stay a couple hours later before hitting the road to our next place. Thank you!! "
