I am so disappointed at this resort! Management ? has non! I slipped and fell by the pool area about 2 PM, I asked for a Dr./ Dr came to my room 4 hours later. Dr. told me I had to take X-rays at the hospital but I had to pay everything out of pocket even transportation. Tried calling all numbers to get a hold of anyone that could assist me and nothing. My husband and I didn't even eat that night. Next morning we were checking out and asked about making a report of my incident. The gave me the form with all the information and as of today Ive had no luck, I have e-mailed them as well and as of today no one has replied. I had to pay the Doctor for his visit to my room. Mind you that Dr. is on the property on call.

Loved this resort. Isabel by the pool was amazing! Pools were great and not crowded. The spa is one of the best I’ve ever been to. They have a yummy juice bar with sandwiches and crepes that was my go to every morning. Cons: Do not get tricked into the “premium” package. There is absolutely no difference in the quality of food. They told us we could get top shelf drinks and premium cut meats, but never did. It’s annoying having to sign a check everytime you order anything. The hotel states it has a kids club, however it was closed half the time we were there and it’s only free for 2 hours. After that, you get charged. They’re also closed on Saturday’s, which makes no sense. The espresso machine was broken at Fresca the entire time we were there.

Drinks and food took a very long time at every location on property not sure if they were understaffed or what but even getting water bottles took forever. Also we had to call maintenance on multiple occasions to fix AC even then AC would say room temp was 72 but it felt more like 75-76 which after a long day outside you want to comeback to a cold room which was not the case. Food was decent but other than that I was not that impressed staff was friendly but i experienced better service and hospitality at all the other resorts I’ve visited.

too many things not included that you are not tole about when you book; seems to be no liquor in drinks and hotel claiming i opened and took out an "intimate item" and charging me $94.50 hotel has not yet sent the itemized statement and if they havent by now they clearly are not going to do so

Our family enjoyed our stay at El Encanto. The property was beautiful and the pools were not crowded so it was easy to find seating everyday. However, food and drink service poolside did not start until about 11:00 everyday, which was inconvenient with small kids who get in the pool around 9:00am. Once the service did start, it took a very long time. The dining options in general seemed fairly limited, especially if you didn’t make reservations immediately upon arrival. Lastly, every time you order anything you have to sign a bill which is aggravating at an all inclusive resort. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Good food and nice employees. Only annoying thing is how long food service takes due to having to sign a cheque even though you have all inclusive. Weird system, but it wasn't the end of the world. They try to sell you the premium all inclusive option which allows you to have certain cuts of steak and better tequila but honestly it is not worth it. The regular tequila they offer is good enough in terms of quality (you can get patron, herradura) would not pay $100 more per person just to drink don julio. Also, make sure you claim a pool-side chair early because the white folks take them all up and never even sit on them.

Great place to relax and enjoying the view. The place was welcoming and very clean . Staff was helpful and friendly. I liked the there was a shuttle bus to take us to the downtown and the beach. There were several dining options and a good variety of food. The only thing I did not like was the pressure to attend a presentation for a membership of the property. Overall it is a nice place to stay and relax with family.

Everything was beautiful. I did not like that we didnt have beach access due to the rock formations but the views were amazing. There was a bus that can take you to the marina close to medano beach. Food was great in all the restaurants. They had gluten free options that my husband and son needed. Would have loved if they had gluten free pizza. Staff was super friendly. Need to call for golf cart pick up/drop offs to many spots but they were super quick to arrive.

The resort in general is very nice. However, the service was terrible! There is no hospitality whatsoever. There were a few employees that stood out and listened to our complaints but they aren't the ones that can make a change. Room service is not "all inclusive!!" At check in we were "upgraded" but, it seems we lost some of the perks we originally should have had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Summer 2024 vacation, I traveled with friends and family.The property was exceptional, clean and beautiful views.There are many restaurant options. I loved that they had a chapel on site. Everything was walkable but they always had golfcart drivers to give you rides.They also had an adult pool and food area with an ocean view.

Property was beautiful but kind of a scam compared to other all inclusive resorts. It’s all inclusive but you have to pay to get into the gym, rooftop pool, spa, etc. also made reservations for dinner but had a lady look us up and down and say we can’t eat there. Most restaurants we waited 40 min just to receive food. Joel one of the bell boys was awesome though, and always gave us a golf cart ride. Overall had a decent time but probably wouldn’t stay there again.
