“The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. The manager and chef provided recommendations for places to visit by car. We enjoyed our stay here, part of a longer touring……

“Great pre-arrival service with emails sharing possible local sites and places to eat. Then, such a warm welcome on arrival. Great room and we had wonderful views down into Perth. Perth was within easy walking distance. The lounge with the wood burning fire in the evening was cozy and a great environment to enjoy a wee dram. Great breakfast.”

My only concern was that it was a bit dusty, particularly on the floor, which stood out otherwise everything was well presented. The utensil container was a thoughtful inclusion, however the stovetop required stainless steel cookware and the only suitable item provided was a long pot. We managed with what was available, but it was a slight inconvenience as it limited basic cooking options like pan-frying. That……

Localisation stratégique pour les visite de châteaux alentours (Glamis, Dunnottar, Blair, Braemar) Le soir, à pied, la découverte de la faune forestière est fantastique : chouettes effraies, biches, écureuil, vaches, cochons et chevaux sauvages, et bien sûr : les castors ! Plus la nuit tombe, plus ils apparaissent. Pas farouches, on les voit vaquer à leurs……
