“The resort has the potential to be a 5 star resort. It is lacking the polish. Overall it is a beautiful resort, loved the organic garden, and the pool is very nice. Maintainance equipment was left out through out the despite work being done for the day. The main chef was amazing but his back up needs a lot more training and experience. Noticable difference in preparation of meals. Water pressure consistently low and hard to get hot water.”

“One of the best landscaped properties I’ve ever experienced”

“The view from the dining and viewing pergola is one of the best in San Ignacio.”

“Stayed two nights. Staff was incredible. Derrick is the best tour guide. Lodge even had transportation from airport and to water ferry. 10/10!”

“This place is heaven.”

“Prices are not cheap for food and excursions so be prepared, but service and quality are excellent for everything. It’s a good ecological hotel so don’t expect or complain about air conditioning. It’s perfectly manageable without having it.”

“This is the most amazing place I've stayed at. The ENTIRE staff was terrific from begging to end. My wife had the best massage she's ever had. The food was great and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. If I could give more stars I would. Be ready to unplug from the world and enjoy your surroundings. So much to do and see. I will be recommending this property to everyone one I know. My wife and I were making plans to come back before we even left.”

“完美美住宿地，蜜月好選擇”

“The setting in the mountains is beautiful, and the place has a fun, rustic atmosphere. However, there were several disappointments during our stay. The listing advertises air conditioning, but it’s important to understand that the rooms are screened in, so the AC does not cool the entire room. You can only really feel it when you’re lying in bed with the curtains closed. Also, the air blows directly onto your face, and there’s no way to adjust the airflow. I actually had to sleep with my head……

“Good”

“Like many eco lodges in the area, rooms are basically screened-in porchs with adjustable shutters - perfect for the setting, but very exposed. So, I get up at 2:30am for a routine bathroom visit, and let me add the (surprisingly relevant) detail that it was the quick and quiet #1 variety. Just as I was back in bed turning off the light, someone in the dark just outside my window asked 'Are you alright?'. Startled, at first I assumed this was a conversation between 2 people coincidentally on……

“The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a fantastic stay!”

“It's peaceful, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable.”

“I absolutely LOVED my stay at Falling Leaves Lodge. My partner and I were blown away with the service, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, and clean room. Paula at the front desk went above and beyond for us, whether it was confirming our excursions, arranging taxis, or ordering us early breakfast, she handled it all. The groundskeepers were so kind, setting up lounge chairs and allowing us to connect to the Bluetooth speaker by the pool. The on-site restaurant had a large menu and every dish we……

“The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! Their bartender, Gio, knew exactly how to cool us off after a hot day. Lucy always had the most beautiful smile on her face. The owner (can't remember his name) was……
