“Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night. Lots to do in the area (hiking, waterfalls, Calico Jacks, cave tubing) and San Ignacio is only 40 mins away. Note: you definitely need an SUV to get there (4x4 in wet……

“Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.”

“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Great property (seemingly) as we stayed for a night. Main issue: we came in at 12:30 to check-in (2pm reservation) - the property was empty (1 guest) but they refused to get us rooms till 2pm. We were hoping to freshen up before we headed to the next spot - we ended up going to the next spot & returning at 10pm & check-out at 6am. In short we’re not sure what the property has to offer but disappointed with the check-in capability with an empty resort. ”

(45 minutes de San Ignacio) Les options de marches en nature sont nombreuses et très bien balisées avec en prime des baignades dans des sites enchanteurs. La nourriture est typique et excellentes. Un séjour que nous recommandons à proximités de plusieurs attraits (Caracol et Big Rock Falls notamment). ”

“The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”

“The Kitchen staff is outstanding Oscar, Amy and Cindy are a skilled team serving exceptional food made from local sources George and the landscaping crew have created a lovely display of flowering plants. “The room was clean.The grounds were clean.The pool was clean.Granted,some of the areas were a little tired like the edge of the pool.The slate rock work was missing a pice here and there.Our AC broke down on our 2nd to last day in our room.The staff was very understanding and moved us right next door.Same quality unit so very easy move.Our breakfast next morning was free.What really stood out was the food ad the bar service.The staff was amazing.Everyone of them was very friendly and……

“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”
