It was sufficient. On a night when the Badgers had a game, it was the cheapest hotel in town I was comfortable booking for a family visit to connect with our college age child. The pictures online make this facility look nicer than it is in reality. The staff was friendly.

Got the job done for a decent price during a Badgers gameday weekend. Hotel room was fine but the bathroom was pretty bad - shower drain barely worked, water all over the bathroom floor even with shower curtain, interesting odor, etc. Overall it’s fine for a few days and you get what you pay for, don’t expect too much though.

Although room appeared to be clean, there are moisture stains all over in the room sealing, in the bathroom. Property is dirty with overfilled garbage cans. The area was not looking particularly safe either. Hotel and room had disgusting smell. Only circumstances kept us to stay overnight. I cannot rate the breakfast offered as it was so un-appetizing by the look of it, very limited offerings.

It seems like they tried to update the property with current trends, but the craftsmanship was very poor. Paint roller marks on the ceiling, gaps in the baseboards, some frequently touched spaces where paint was already coming off, etc.

Just be mindful that this is a 2-star hotel; on Expedia, I assumed it was closer to a 3-star hotel. The staff was really nice, but the conditions are not favorable for a solo traveller. Although the surrounding area is accessible, there were a lot of times I worried about my safety and even got asked to enter someone's car. For a cheap, one-night stay for a couple or family, this could work, though the first room I was placed in smelled horribly like smoke and was not cleaned well. The laundry facilities worked; however, I never once went to the pool area. Expedia did help me make new room arrangements.
