“This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday.”

“For the price I paid, I had lower expectation. It turned out to be a great hospitality. Rooms were cozy and spacious bathroom. They even provided complimentary breakfast, that was delicious so is the tea. The owner was humble and he had a great customer obsession. ”

Not only were they able to assist in my commute to the airport and back, they were able to help me to items I needed, plan other upcoming trips and even store my luggage until my final stay before returning home. Jennis even kindly gave me a ride to the bus stop and would not even take any money!! Top notch establishment!”

“Das Hotel ist eine tolle Ausgangsbasis, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Bereich Colombo zu entdecken. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und mit allen, was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool ist sehr erholsam. Das Essen ist wie die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals nicht zu übertreffen. Nur der Strand ist zum Schwimmen nicht so geeignet. Wellness wurde auch angeboten, leider hatten wir zu knapp geplant.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Gomez’s place. This place is a hidden gem and a quiet sanctuary away from the busy city. He and his staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially with helping us connect with the airline after losing our bags. He also set up a driver for us to our next location at a good price. He has owned his place for 28 years, here’s hoping for many more! ”
