“What a gem! Don't hesitate/wait to book this property! Rooms are spotless over sized suites with separate sitting area, dining table and kitchenette. Comfortable beds, free coffee in room, covered front and back porches which view the mountains. There is a restaurant on site (recommend the bacon blue cheese burger and fries) and pizza from Rock City Mercantile down the street (unbelievable beer selection). The restaurant menu prices are higher, but you're in the middle of a remote section of……

“The Buffalo Bill Suite was sweet! We walked in and immediately loved the place, It was perfect for my 96-year-old father and myself. And! Yes! The kitchenette was actually functional. We had all we needed to make our breakfast and lunch and of course we had to eat at the steakhouse for dinner. The waitress, Z and the cook were fantastic, too. Many thanks for our perfect accommodations and being right at the City of Rocks!”

“It gives more of a camping kind of feel. I gre up camping so it was fine for me. I don't know that I would have minded the outhouse so much except my husband and I got food poisoning on our trip so it was a but of a hassle trying to frequently get out there in the middle of the night But that isn't the property owners fault, that was just our experience. The people are wonderfully kind and inviting! And the town is cute and beautiful.”

“If you're looking for more space than a traditional hotel room offers this is the perfect place! It has a fenced in peaceful grassy patio we sat out in every evening; beautiful and spacious kitchen/living/dining common space. Plus; no long hotel hallway with room doors banging; you have your own entry door directly to outside. We used this as our base for several days of driving back and forth to hike at City of Rocks Nat'l Park and Castle Rock State Park. Our stay was very enjoyable; info on……

“Cozy little place for sure. We needed place close to City of Rocks.had everything we needed. Couple of suggestions for the host and guests. A little trash can for the portopotty. One of the bed is on the loft..ladder to get to it is tricky to get down. Unlees you're 6ft tall and strong enough to left over head, let the host know you be using. Otherwise you'd have message the host. Response was quick for us but things come up sometimes. Overall, happy and will stay again. ”
