Cozy Lakeside Cabin w/ Boat and Firepit

  • Conveniently located in north central WIsconsin, just off US HWY 51 (I-39) on beautiful Manitowish Lake in Manitowish Waters WI. Manitowish Lake is one of the pristine ten-lake Manitowish Chain of Lakes. Birchwood is a single unit, open concept studio cabin with one queen size bed and one queen sleeper sofa (). From the great room guests can enjoy a quiet view of the nearby lakefront and the majestic hemlock and birch trees that surround us. The cabin has a fully supplied kitchen, towels and linens provided, bath with shower, outdoor grill, Direct TV, paddle boat and fishing boat with 15 hp motor included. Boat slip is available for your own boat. Swimming and snorkeling off dock. Cabin just 44 ft from the water. Some of the best small mouth bass fishing in North America. Also, all 10 lakes of the Manitowish Chain are Class A musky. Directions: Just 23 miles North of Minocqua on US Highway 51 (I- 39). Turn left (West) onto Powell Rd; in one mile turn left (South) onto Alder Lake Rd; in approximately one mile watch for our sign (Tom and Karen Everson) at 13412. We look forward to your visit.

Peaceful retreat

Very clean, whole property is well kept, owners are readily available and we enjoyed visiting with them on the pier over coffee. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen well stocked, the view of the lake from the cottage is amazing Very quiet for sleeping and convenient to Manitowish Waters for shopping.

Perfect lake cabin

We loved every minute of our vacation. Cabin was absolutely perfect and the lakes are gorgeous. Tom and Karen are wonderful people and we enjoyed visiting with them. They have everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable.

Manitowish Waters Studio on the Lake!

Staying at this property was truely a pleasure with the beautiful scenery and being able to use the dock, kyaks and fishing boat. Tom & Karen's attention to detail in the guest studio was perfect as we had everything and more for our 4 night stay. They were gracious and wonderful hosts and we hope to stay again next year!

Loved our stay and enjoyed getting to know the hosts. The live 20 feet away but you hardly know they are there unless you want to. Very enjoyable!

Everything about our stay at the cozy lakeside cabin on Manitowish Lake was WONDERFUL! The accommodations were clean, well appointed and very convenient to the lakeside. Getaway Sister Weekend

Our hosts Tom & Karen were wonderful and made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed! We enjoyed our accommodations which were just as described. Beautiful location right on the water with easy access to bike trails. Highly recommend staying at Tom & Karens!

Wonderful

The studio cabin is just as described with Tom and Karen being great host. With great weather and the availability of a fishing boat and having a campfire made the experience even more wonderful. We will be back soon.

Could not imagine a more perfect place for lake fishing

This cabin was heaven on earth for my husband. He could use the small boat to go out fishing whenever he wanted. The host, Tom, clued him in to all the good fishing spots. Both hosts were very lovely. The cabin was perfection inside as well as outside; well located for groceries and restaurants, yet super quiet. We are already planning our next trip here!

Birchwood Reconnect

Great stay! Property was amazing tucked into the north woods with great lake front views. Cabin had a north woods feel was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the dock was nice for docking boat and fishing was toss in a line and a fish hits (we were going for pan fish with worms but did get a couple small bass also). We enjoyed the cabin, fire pit, swimming in the lake using the floating swim platform, the paddle boards and paddle boat. Lake was great for skiing! Tom & Karen were great host and great company!

Relaxing and Inviting

Karen and Tom are awesome hosts. There if you need them but allow you your space. They were delightful to talk with and share ideas about the area. The guest house is perfect for one or a couple. Loved the lake and Tom got the kayak out for me. So enjoyed my time and happy they share it with us.
