This was by far the worst all inclusive that I have stayed at. With the exception of Francisco who helped us out in the pool area, and Josue who was one of the servers- the majority of the staff was rude. I chose this hotel based on reviews, but obviously I should have read the negative ones.
The rooms did not have a fridge, the beds were on the smaller side, and we were charged for a drink my husband spilled. They refused to change the sheets until we went and paid. Then they brought sheets but never put them on. LOL. Be warned, they do not take credit/debit cards. I was told there was an ATM on property, but there is not. They also do not include the covid test, whereas other competitors do.
The beach is nice, and we always found a spot to sit, but there are bands playing all day. If you don't mind multiple bands playing different songs all day- this is for you.
The worst part was being in a room close to Joe's Oyster Bar. They played music until 4 am from Friday to Sunday.
Some positives: 1. There are several nice pools, and the kids really enjoyed them. 2. The food was decent. 3.They have dinner shows daily. My kids loved the Disney show. 4. There are snacks available all day, so my picky eaters never suffered. 5. Hotel is located near everything and you can grab a pulmonia right outside.
Conclusion- Mazatlan is nice. There is a lot to do and see. I'll be back, but to another hotel.
