Round Lake Retreat: All Season UP Recreation

Welcome to Round Lake Retreat on beautiful North "Round" Manistique Lake!
- 1700 acre all sports/ spring fed lake
- 2000 Sq Ft (ranch) Cottage (3 bedroom/ 2 full bathroom)
- Open Floor Plan: Over 900 sq. feet of the cabin is open to the water/ wall of windows for spectacular views of the lake!
- 7 total beds
- 4 x11ft island that seats 10 people comfortably. The Great Room has comfortable chairs and couches to seat 9 adults.
- Fully stocked Kitchen to allow ease of meal preparation
- Starlink high-speed WIFI internet (run all of your connected devices/ VPN with ease)
- Large Samsung Smart TV for Connectivity / Streaming
- Dedicated workspace in master suite
- Bath towels and bed linens are provided
- Large Washer and dryer available for guest use
- Large Propane Grill / Gas provided for customer use
- Owner is local to address any concerns (if they arise) during your stay.

Summer: (note: peak summer bookings are weekly only: Friday to Friday)
The home has a large dehumidifier and a whole home fan to keep the living spaces cool and comfortable in the summer months.
Jump in the crystal clear (spring fed) lake, or enjoy the many beautiful attractions of the UP. This property is located in the heart of all the popular destinations in the Eastern UP. (under 1 hour drive)
- Fire pit and campfire wood are provided
- 2 kayaks (12 and 14 ft) and oars available for guests
- Private dock
- Private Beach (Just a few steps from the house / exceptional ease of lake access)

Winter: Ride directly to the snowmobile trials:
- 10 min to McMillan corner (Trail #498)
- 12 min to Trail #43 towards Seney
Plenty of space to park trucks and trailers, and a car port to store your snowmobiles at night. This property is located on a private road. Snowplowing is included in the rental price. Ample space to hang snowmobile gear/ helmets.

Fall Getaway
We were looking for a quick getaway for a few nights before it started to get too cold. This property was perfect and provided all of the comforts of home along with a beautiful lake. This area is near many of the UP attractions so there is plenty to do or you can just hang out at the house. It was very well cared for and as described in the listing and the host was available and helpful during our stay. Would definitely return to this house.

Round Lake Gem!!!
We loved the open floor plan, it was great for families to eat and hang out. Loved the LargeTable/Bar for meals. The Kitchen is well-appointed and stocked with necessities for cooking at home.
The home has a great “UP Cabin Vibe”. Absolutely loved the wall of windows facing the lake. The home is nestled on a quiet area of lake.
Christmas lights in the tree are a big help when returning from evening boat ride. Star Link Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Nice lush lawn and sandy beach area was great for resting in the sun. Nice Propane Grill for grilling. Water is delicious from tap and brought me back to childhood memories, it was the taste of home. Separate Showers and baths are nice. Glad to have towels and linens provided!!!! I would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable home on the lake! It was peaceful and seemed remote but was about an hour away from many popular UP destinations. My family especially loved Picture Rocks and all the nearby lighthouses. After sightseeing, kayaks on the lake and s’mores around the fire pit were perfect. Chris is a great host and you won’t regret booking his retreat.

What a fantastic place to stay ! Chris was always available via text or phone promptly answering our questions before and during our stay. Our group has been coming to the UP to snowmobile for over 30 years and this was by far the nicest place we've ever stayed. Beautiful & well kept, the kitchen, Island & living room overlooking the lake and the 2 spacious full baths were perfect for a large group. I highly recommend staying here. Chris' place is a wonderful spot for people to get-away. The amenities he has available make this feel like home the second you walk in. The lake access is wonderful. My niece and nephew had a wonderful time learning how to fish and playing in the water.

We rented the cabin for our family vacation. It was a great size for our family and our friends family. The lake out front has a nice little beach area for the kids to play in the sand which was great. Nice area to sit out by the fire as well. The cabin was very clean and nice inside. Had all the supplies we needed to cook and have a great time. The area is nice and has a pizza/ ice cream shop 5 minutes away that we went to a couple times.
