“Unfortunately they only had two pillows on the queen bed, one each. And they were the hardest memory foam pillows I have ever used. We actually ended up getting our own pillows as there were no others in the apartment. The bed also only had a quilt, no sheet, and there was a spare blanket but it was the itchy kind that I remember from school camps. No drier for laundry which is hard for wet, overcast, winter weather. Also had work being done in multiple areas of building, but wasn't interfering……

“This must be the perfect place to stay and explore Melbourne. A tram stop on the doorstep and located in the heart of the city. Such a lovely designed and well equipped apartment. It is stylishly furnished and decorated throughout. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Maria’s attention to detail with check-in and our additional extras (cot) was first class. Quite simply our stay could not have been bettered. I will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.”

“The accommodation itself was comfortable - lovely view from the balcony (although very crowded with the choice of furniture), and the pool and gym were good facilities. The main issues: no parking is inconvenient, but having to pick up keys from another location is incredibly annoying - and not clear at all in the initial instructions. With kids, this situation is problematic. Finding the location with the keys is difficult - and the person managing the keys was dismissive and rude. The……

“The place was grotty - the front door was dirty and had smudge marks all over it - a regular wipe down wouldn't kill any one to do. It gave an impression of what will it be like inside. And yes the impression from the door confirmed it. The coffee table was old and had the under-the-table screws bulging the above surface. Floor and skirting was not well presented nor clean to the standard that the price charge should command! Towels need renewing. Fortunately, it was one night and not……

“Great location, great views, great communication. What lacked was quality furniture - everything was budget furniture, and mismatched towels of poor quality. The sofa was broken upon arrival which took two days to repair, multiple emails back and forth and two visits from a repairer eating time into our trip that we shouldn’t have spent to manage the issue. I understand these things happen - but I feel as though the organisation should have management plans in place for these matters that……
