I checked in on my birthday and the staff went all out, upgrading my room for free, had cake waiting in my room, gave me a complimentary breakfast, etc. I was overwhelmed by the attention they went into to make my birthday memorable. Check-in was smooth, and although we were initially given a first floor room, the staff happily moved us to a fifth floor room with a balcony, no hassle at all. Having access to the pool across the road was a great bonus and made the experience even better.
