“Situated in village square with parking in front of hotel, access to our room on floor 2 was a bit of a climb, especially as tge temperature was in tge upper 30s! The ambience of the Excellent Evening meal in rear courtyard was somewhat spoilt by noisy children in adjoining garden using a swimming pool( understandable in thus heat ?) Despite a fan being provided, temperature in room was quite uncomfortable. It really needed aircon because Opening window made traffic noise a problem. Breakfast……

“We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here”

“Attention : changement récent de propriétaires ! Les avis positifs sont vraisemblablement essentiellement valables pour les anciens propriétaires. Soyons clairs : le seul point positif de ces hébergements est la propreté. Le fonctionnement obsessionnel compulsif a au moins cet avantage 😉 L'accueil est d'emblée déconcertant ! Après un rapide "bonjour", la liste des "consignes" (terme d'emblée infantilisant) nous est longuement présentée. Et voilà que nos deux enfants de 7 et 3 ans et demi se……

“We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean. Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet.”

“Clearly a very nice hotel to stay in with very helpful staff. The room I was offered was in the courtyard on the ground floor, and small. When I voiced my concern, the staff immediately changed to a very nice room in the mail building. Breakfast also was excellent. Overall, a great experience.”
