Although it is an older hotel, it was very clean and very pet friendly. There is a park bedside hotel to let your dog run around in and the Indian restaurant was one of the best we have ever had, so good!!!
Room was awesome, girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and tidy. My only wish was for a K-Cup for the Keurig or some Stevia or sweetener for the coffee at the desk.

$hit show. Never experienced anything like it.
We arrived at the hotel, they do not take cash, which is illegal. No elevator, phones in the rooms or coffee makers. Small but clean room. When we returned to the room the next evening at 8 PM, the front door was locked with nobody at the desk. We had to enter through the restaurant on the side. All night long there was beeping and door handle jiggles, it sounded like someone was trying to get into their room with no luck. The hotel was left unmanned all night long.

Great Indian food attached and also fun kareoke bar on Fridays
If you want to sleep, I recommend finding a different hotel. If you want to sing karaoke on a Friday night, then yeah maybe this is the place for you.
The music at the attached pub was loud until 2am.
On the plus side, the staff was helpful at check in, and it’s pet friendly.
On the downside, the door and window are thin and let through all outside noise including loud music from the attached pub.

Mystery stains on bedding and shower curtain. Newly renovated rooms but mattresses do not fit on bed platforms - beware of dropping things!! Floors dusty and filthy. Take note of karaoke in the bar below motel rooms.
Can’t tell from the outside of the building however, the inside has been completely renovated has a lovely entrance and rooms are immaculate and super clean! Highly recommended super nice staff and many restaurants and pubs within walking distance!
The room was cold and had the thinest least effective bedding ever. I shivered all night and didnt get proper rest for my long drive from Sooke, BC to Red Deer, AB.
Room was clean but building needed work. No one at check in - tried to call - finally someone came 15 minutes later. Front door of building didn’t work / they were going to wedge it open.
Homeless sleeping outside around building.
We had to search out someone to check us in the air conditioning did not work and it’s was unbearably hot. Then the guy who worked there came up at 10:30 asking about the a/c barged in my wife had just finished nursing our 7 month old. He did t even wait for me to make sure she was done. Rooms are cramped and tiny
