Recommendations: refill the hot water for afternoon tea from 3-6pm. Otherwise, it's lukewarm from sitting out since breakfast service. Also, the toaster setting burns thin-sliced bread. The sign asks guests not to adjust the setting, but something needs to be adjusted. The staff is very friendly and helpful. That said, there’s no security at night after 9:00PM and the doors to the Inn are left unlocked. In the event of emergency, your ‘re told to call 911\. More thought should be given to overnight security. The rooms have lots of potential but are a bit tired and could use updating ….better lighting, overhaul of electric sockets, improved internet, larger TV’s and less dowdy furnishings (especially in the common area). On a positive note breakfast is perfect and the staff in the dining room couldn’t be nicer. First class Henry’s restaurant is right on the property opposite the main inn. The Red House, Asian Fusion restaurant is a quick 3 min drive up the road and serves wonderful sushi and an array of interesting Asian delights.
