“My wife, kids, grandparents and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront Modern House over the last weekend! The home is very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. In addition, we appreciated the stylish decor and the fact that the house was immaculate. The property is an easy drive to and from the the New Paltz Main St and Farmer's Market, so we conveniently headed into town for shopping and meals. “We stayed at the Chicken coop when we attended a conference at Omega Institute of Holistic Studies as it was conveniently located a short drive from the campus. It was clean and comfortable with AC. All of our meals were supplied at Omega so we did not need to cook however the kitchen is very well stocked. Samples of honey, maple syrup, and dried mizuna were provided along with some farm fresh eggs which was a nice touch. There is a nice firepit but we did not take advantage of this. The host……

“My family and I loved this property! We enjoyed walking around the woods and exploring. The house was well equipped and was really charming. We also loved sightseeing around the near by towns. Definitely a place to come back to stay again. ”

“Property was very clean and nicely decorated. There isn’t really a living room to hang out. Very difficult for 3 adults to all hang out together. When I booked I was more concerned about the sleeping area so I assumed there was a living room. The guest suite is in the basement of home in a nice neighborhood.”

“Nice secluded location. Very comfortable house. Climate control was a bit finicky, but our overall stay was outstanding. ”

“This artfully decorated house by the lake is a one stop shop for all the lake has to offer. A wide array of kayaks, canoes, and paddle board are offered for exploration. “We had a quick stay to celebrate a family baby shower and the house was perfect for us. Perfectly clean and quiet, enough space to have other family over for snacks and hangout while we decided what to do. So clean and very comfortable. I may have missed this in the house instructions but note that there were no paper towels and 2 trash bags for our stay (BYO if you need them)”

“We had a much too brief stay, but what a lovely cottage in the most gorgeous setting. It has the feel of an old-school cabin but all the conveniences of a modern home. We especially loved the eclectic and plentiful selection of books. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek nearby. A great base to explore all the glorious hiking in the area. We'll definitely be back! ”
