The Minto area is home to many villages, towns and cities, each endowed with its own special qualities. Rampart, lays 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the southeast, while Livengood is situated 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the southwest.
When it's time to spread your wings, why not check out the nearest center. Fairbanks lies 50 miles (80 kilometers) away and is home to sights such as Growden Memorial Park, Fairbanks Community Museum and Georgeson Botanical Garden. If your itinerary allows be sure to check out Museum of the North, Pioneer Park and University of Alaska-Fairbanks before you head back to Minto.
There are heaps of thrilling adventures to be had in the region around Interior Alaska. Have a go at mountain climbing or hiking to get your heart rate up.
