The cabin sits right on the water, with a wraparound upper deck that becomes the heart of the stay — linen-cushioned lounge chairs angled toward the river, a long dining table for slow dinners under the redwoods, and the sound of the Russian River moving past below. Three towering redwoods grow on the property itself, and the canopy keeps things shaded and cool even in summer.
Inside, the great room is pure log cabin that feels like a lodge: vaulted pine ceilings, hand-peeled beams, a floor-to-ceiling river-rock fireplace, and a deep leather sectional for relaxing and enjoying conversation. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for a real cooking weekend — electric range, dishwasher, full-size fridge, everything you’d need to prepare any meal — and it opens to a live-edge dining table that seats eight beneath a grand chandelier.
Two bedrooms, each with a purple mattress king bed, black out curtains, and floor to ceiling mirrored closets.
The third bonus room has three queen beds, two nestled in the loft area. Your group will naturally gather here for foosball and a large 65” inch TV with streaming capabilities.
Outside is a world all its own. A flagstone patio under the deck holds a year-round hot tub, a ping-pong table, Beyond it, a lawn of red Adirondack chairs circles a gas fire pit (year-round, fire-restriction friendly), with cornhole boards set up in the grass and a fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, and river tubes ready to launch from your private dock just down the path. The dock has a swim ladder. The river is yours. This part of the river is peaceful, calm, and hardly moves.
Mornings are for coffee on the deck and a peaceful paddle on the pleasant river. Afternoons are for tubing, wine tasting, or walking into Monte Rio for a beer. Evenings end at the fire pit or in the hot tub, redwoods overhead, river below, without a care in the world.

The exterior of the home is monitored by cameras - one in the driveway, two in the backyard area.
STAIRS:
Please be aware that this home sits on an elevated riverbed hill, and there are many stairs throughout the property, including:
- 4 stairs to access the entrance to the home
- 6 stairs to access the loft room
- A full flight of stairs to access the backyard/ hot tub/ firepit, etc.
- 2 full flights of narrow exterior stairs to reach the river and private dock
- Ladder with 9 rungs to reach 2 queen beds in loft room
CELL SERVICE:
You can count on fast internet service at the home. Due to its rural and natural environment, cell service is extremely spotty in the home and neighborhood. We like to think of this as a great opportunity to disconnect!
NEIGHBORHOOD:
The neighborhood is sleepy, quiet, and serene. The majority of the homes in the town are occupied by local long-term residents. There are a few local shops and restaurants, but most of the available options are in Guerneville which is a 10 minute drive away.
PARKING:
There are two driveway spots available for parking. No more than 2 cars are allowed at the home (no exceptions.) No other parking is available.
RULES:
Sonoma County enforces strict rules for vacation rentals and in order to maintain our permit, we strictly enforce these rules. Breaking any of the below rules is grounds for immediate removal from the property without a refund:
- Quiet hours from 10pm-8am daily
- No outdoor amplified sound (playing music or noise on speakers) of any kind.
- Animals cannot be left alone outside. No excessive barking. Animals left at home without supervision must be kept in a contained crate at all times.
