“Very nice and clean hotel! Reception was closed but I got very detailed instructions before arrival on how to retreive my key and find the room. I was also gifted sweets and wine. I loved that the fridge was bigger than usual hotel fridges/minibar. I also got the breakfast, which was served at a nearby café, and I got my breakfast served at the table. “Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the central area of Heraklion. The area does feel sketchy because of where it’s located but it’s a really safe area. There’s a lot of restaurants and stores that’s only a few minutes walking distance from the hotel which was nice. “Very good hotel. Having kitchen with a fridge is a great advantage if you stay for more than three nights. It’s a bit far from touristic places which is not necessarily good or bad but great thing is that there’s a bus stop nearby with a free rode to the city center. The beach is 10-15 minutes to walk. “The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”
