If you are wanting a fancy, new looking hotel this is not for you. You are paying for the location. It’s on the boardwalk/ oceanfront. Staff were nice/worked hard. Not enough parking out front but they gave us somewhere to park nearby. The stove, fridge, microwave worked/were clean but rusted and dented. 3 pools, lots of rowdy families. Elevator, not great shape, only 1, mostly worked. Great balcony. Lamp cord, electrical taped/wouldn’t stay in the outlet. Mattresses flat/not comfy. Wicked tuba rest next door delicious, pier convenient. For this price, in July, I’d stay again. Also loved the pirate dinner show, 5 stars!

It was great to be right on the beach and to be able to walk up to the boardwalk. A car or rideshare is needed to get around if you want to do amything else in Myrtle Beach though. Pools were clean and refreshing. And the air-conditioning was nice and cold...exactly what a place on the beach needs. Staff was incredibly helpful whenever we had a question.too.

great view, quiet. not over crowded full kitchen and large rooms with the kitchenette ones. have stayed there a couple times before. just dont stay in rooms 201, 301 etc thru 901. it's the bigger rooms with kitchens but the air condition in the front room by the door is a portable one that sits in a little pool that has to be empty every day, so you have to call the front desk and remind them ( not my job vacation ). even thou they know you are there. because it shuts off when full of water plus the exhaust hose keep coming out of the wall and heating up the room. was hoping for a little better for 5 days at $1650. quiet and friendly, on the beach. i know pandemic took a toll on business as well as people. but the people in the room next to us 301 we were room 302, 6 years ago complained about the same problem. thought they would have it fixed ( not ) so take 202,203 302.303 etc thru 903.

I was really looking forward to my stay until I arrive. I had a wonderful ocean view. The location was great. You’re right in the middle of everything, but when I got to my room, the sheets were wrinkled. They were burnt the room was disgusting not clean at all I had to, spend a day cleaning everything because I went on the 4 of July and I thought I couldn’t get another place. I had to disinfect everything and on top of that at night we noticed there were big roaches on the balcony and also in the room , small roaches, the folding bed in the living room Was so disgusting it was broken. It had dirt all over it like they never cleaned it before super uncomfortable. I also had to clean that in order to sleep in it and put sheets on it that I bought the couch had food like it have never been cleaned. I had to put sheets over it. The small was disgusting. It had dirt all over it. I could go on and on only reason why I didn’t change the hotel was because it was a busy Holiday and I have my kids with me and I couldn’t find something affordable. It was too late wouldn’t recommend it.

The Windsurfer is a good place to stay while in Myrtle Beach, especially for the 4th of July. The fireworks were shot off at the end of the pier that was down the promenade a short way, and our room had an ocean view. It was great!

They used pine sol on laminate flooring which left oil residue and was slimy. There was a 2 inch gap on the bottom of the exterior door to the outside. And unfortunately there was black mold on the ceiling as well. Other than that it wasn’t bad but there weren’t many outlets as well which made the stay uncomfortable and limited. We had to leave early due to the black mold and did not receive a refund.

DO NOT BOOK IN THE 3 STORY WALKUP. It was a nightmare. First my air conditioning unit went out in the middle of the night, they had to come replace it then there was 6 moths flying at me and my child laying in the bed. They were coming from somewhere inside possibly one of holes in the walls. Terrible. I’ll never go back. The ONLY good thing was the pool. The hot tub was dirty. Room 211 was unpleasant and dirty.
